Weapons now available to terrorists include Stinger surface-to-air missiles, many other types of surface-to-air missiles, submachine guns, antitank weapons, and others. Anyone with sufficient money can purchase these and other sophisticated military weapons and equipment. However, the numbers of these weapons now owned by terrorists are unknown.
