Annotation
The advantages and disadvantages of instructional technology in a correctional setting are discussed.
Abstract
After considering some questions that staff need to answer before adopting technology, the authors suggest that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages especially in the revitalization of staff and students that occurs from redesigning curriculum, in the improved self-esteem of students, and in students becoming familiar with technology that is used in the modern workplace.
