Abstract
The case information and clinical impressions of a male-to-female adolescent transsexual who spent three years in a juvenile corrections institution forms the basis of the presentation of the problems which transsexuals present to the correctional system. Attention to privacy, networking with other agencies, and continuing education for the staff and disclosure to other residents and parents are recommended as the means which can result in overall high levels of acceptance and easier administration of this situation. 6 references.
