The critical issues for any CCTV system are flexibility, timing, tuning, picture quality, and cost. Matrix switchers are the central component of today's large CCTV systems, which also include control panels; pan, tilt, and zoom controls; and alarm input devices. Using matrix representations of CCTV systems allows for growth to accommodate business needs.
