Abstract
The coding of events consists of four levels to allow for the distinguishing of management tasks. The highest level is the "subnet level," which is coded A through Z. This level is composed of major budgeting items such as schematics and site acquisition. The next level of events is the "fragnet network," coded from AA through ZZ. It is composed of major work accomplishments such as sitework schematics. This level is used for management schedules, which consist of over 100 fragnets. Level three is a "partial fragnet," coded AA1 through ZZ9. It consists of smaller work accomplishments such as mechanical schematic design for sitework. The fourth level is the "activity level," coded from AA00 through ZZ99. An activity is an identifiable work task consisting of one or more responsible parties. Over 1,200 activities are listed for this level. The responsible parties for each activity are coded. Activities by department are listed as well.
