Statistical information on felon parolees is provided for the four California parole regions.
Abstract
These include region 1 which covers all the Counties of Los Angeles and San Bernardino, region 2 which covers San Francisco Bay Counties, region 3 which covers Los Angeles County excluding the southeastern areas, and region 4 which covers all of southern California from San Bernardino County and the southeastern areas of Los Angeles County to the Mexican border. Information is provided on the felon parole population per region and with out of State supervision. Other categories covered include offense categories, mainly property, drug, violence, and other, racial/ethnic characteristics, and age. A list of offense groups by offense categories is included. In addition, tabular data are presented for the California felon parolees by region on the basis of sex and most serious offense category including homicide, robbery, assault, sex offenses, kidnapping, burglary, vehicle theft, drug possession, driving under the influence, arson, weapon possession, and escape. 10 tables
