This 1990 directory lists Federal and Provincial justice services available in Canada.
Abstract
Federal government services include the Canadian Department of Justice, the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, the Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs, the Canadian Judicial Council, and the Canadian Judicial Centre. Federal services also encompass the Law Reform Commission of Canada, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, information offices, correctional investigators, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police's Public Complaints Commission, the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics, the Correctional Service of Canada, and the National Parole Board. Justice services available at the provincial level vary but generally include an attorney general, crimes compensation, legal aid, court of appeals, provincial court, family and youth courts, correctional services for young and adult offenders, community services, educational institutions, and the police. An address and telephone number are given for each available service.
