Detailed data are provided on the racial and Hispanic origin distribution of inmates, offenses, violent crime convictions, age distribution and average age, and sentencing authority. Prison admissions are tabulated according to month and type of admission, county of conviction, age, race, sex, sentencing authority, and offense. Prison release data are categorized by type of release, month, race, length of stay by admission category and by offense, sentencing authority, and sex.
