The first section, consisting of an article on Adolf Eichmann and the Third Reich and another on hostility, is entitled "Man's Inhumanity to Man." The second section, on social pathology, contains pieces on psychopathology, antisocial behavior, and delinquency. The next series of articles explores the modern criminal code from philosophical and psychosocial perspectives. Subsequent chapters explore issues of the law and the science of behavior, criminal responsibility and pathology, the role of psychiatry in criminal law, and the lawyer's role in the criminal process. The section on corrections includes articles on the psychiatrist's role in correctional settings, the benefits of group counseling, and contemporary trends in corrections. Finally, the interaction between the public and the criminal process is explored through an examination of the role of television in the courtroom and the role of rationality in crime and corrections. 2 appendixes
