The system contains information on the bureau nationally as well as every BOP institution, region, and security level. The data covers rated capacity, admissions and discharges, average daily population, inmate demographics, security designation, custody classification, urine surveillance, assaults, escapes, disciplinary hearings, inmate grievances, education program enrollment and completion, staff demographics and attitudes, and financial management. The system encourages efficient and effective use of staff resources by providing quick access to a wide range of information and promotes proactive data management.
