Data are presented on prison admissions and work releases for male and female inmates of the State of Washington Department of Corrections as of September 30, 1992.
Abstract
Tables present age and specific racial and ethnic origin for inmates, distribution of offenses and violent crime convictions, admissions by type and sentencing authority, and releases by type of release, racial and ethnic origin, length of stay by offense, and all releases by sentencing authority. A table presents the average daily population (ADP) and rated capacity (CAP) by month for fiscal year 1993. It shows a work release total of 1,162 (ADP) and 1,061 (CAP) for July; 1,169 (ADP) and 1,058 (CAP) for August; and 1,159 (ADP) and 1,058 (CAP) for September.
