This bibliography lists literature regarding drug abuse published throughout the world during 1989, as well as documents published after the appearance of the 1988 volume in the same series.
Abstract
The volume is intended to provide a nearly complete bibliography of the literature on the subject for 1989. Because of the large amount of material focusing specifically on alcohol abuse, these documents are grouped under the heading "alcohol" as well as under other appropriate sub-headings. More than 50 bibliographies, indexes, and compilations of abstracts were searched to compile the volume. The volume includes a list of journals cited; a list of books, monographs, and pamphlets; a list of dissertations; and periodical literature, grouped under more than 200 headings that are listed alphabetically.
