Abstract
Tables indicate new admissions, which include offenders who were not under any type of supervision at the time of sentencing as well as those who were incarcerated with or without new sentences because of violation of probation supervision. Offenses for which admittees were sentenced are indicated for males and females, and the average sentence is reported. Commitments by county are indicated, as is the average sentence length for each type of offense. Demographic information encompasses age, race and ethnicity, and marital status. Information is provided on criminal histories, prior incarceration, educational achievement, health status, and service in the military. Security ratings are also indicated, as are treatment needs due to alcohol or drug abuse. Academic and vocational educational needs are also documented. Treatment placement recommendations are indicated. 24 tables
