This report presents crime statistics and juvenile and adult arrest statistics for Kansas for the second and third quarters of 1992, as well as comparisons with previous time periods.
Abstract
Crime in Kansas decreased 2.1 percent during January through September 1992 from the same period in 1991. In the third quarter of 1992, crime increased 10.9 percent over the previous quarter, based on data for the Part I crimes of murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault and battery, burglary, theft, and motor vehicle theft. Violent crime increased 5.1 percent over 1991 and 5.2 percent over the previous quarter. Property crime decreased 2.8 percent from 1991 and increased 11.5 percent when compared to the previous quarter. Tables showing data by offense, time period, and county
