Abstract
Knowledge domains of the instructional unit address the sale of alcoholic beverages without a license, the unauthorized use of alcohol on premises, furnishing alcohol to an intoxicated person, and the sale of alcohol after hours. Additional knowledge domains focus on the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors, the possession of alcohol by minors, the presence of minors inside a premise where alcohol is sold, the possession of alcohol on school grounds, the use of false identification by minors, and the presence of alcoholic beverages at social gatherings. Supporting materials include an Alcoholic Beverage Control Act checklist for use as an investigative tool, information on California's ABC laws, and the regulatory section of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act.
