Conference presentations and discussions covered the availability of computerized environmental law databases in Council of Europe member states, the need for computerized systems in the environmental field, and possibilities for European cooperation. Participants agreed that more precise and detailed information on environmental law is needed and that computerized systems can help obtain such information. They proposed that one European environmental law databank or separate national environmental law databases be created.
