Judicial activities in fiscal year 1993 focused on alternative dispute resolution, future issues affecting Georgia's court system, court automation, gender equality, racial and ethnic fairness, and resource allocation. Cases filed in the Supreme Court totaled 1,781 in 1991 and 1,784 in 1992. Cases disposed of totaled 1,959 in 1991 and 1,630 in 1992. Cases filed in the Court of Appeals numbered 3,145 in 1991 and 3,412 in 1992. Cases disposed of by the Court of Appeals totaled 2,440 in 1991 and 3,441 in 1992.
