Abstract
The brochure examines sentencing-related provisions of S. 2305 and H.R. 3371 in the following categories: (1) Firearms and Related Amendments; (2) Juveniles and Gangs, Youth Violence; (3) Terrorism and International Matters; (4) Sexual Violence, Child Abuse, and Victims' Rights; (5) Illegal Drugs, Drug Control; (6) General Provisions, Protections for the Elderly; and (7) Prisons. The following additional issues are also considered: Revocation of Probation and Supervised Release, Increase in Maximum Statutory Penalties for Provisions That Inhibit Guideline Operations, Extended Service of Sentencing Commissioners, Miscellaneous Sentencing Provisions.
