Abstract: |
Statistics are listed by a predetermined burglary risk factor developed from the number of burglaries per 100 households, number of burglaries, and number of residences in that town. Data is also given by an urbanization factor, developed for each town, and by police region. During 1980-1988, police statistics indicated that residential burglary doubled; a greater increase than all other general or property crime. A listing of related, available publications is included. 2 appendixes, 4 tables, 3 figures, and maps. |
