Abstract
The first section of statutes covers crimes and procedures related to alcohol, tobacco, controlled dangerous substances, drinking while intoxicated or under the influence, juvenile offenders, firearms, cash transactions, and miscellaneous crimes. The second section includes laws related to education and treatment programs, followed the third section, which covers insurance- related laws. The document contains laws dealing with occupational and licensing issues, miscellaneous provisions, executive orders, and regulations. Some of the significant legislation passed since 1991 classified anabolic steroids as controlled dangerous substances, regulated advertisements for alcoholic beverages, implemented a pilot needle-exchange program, and dealt with various aspects of motor vehicle offenses.
