Following a brief introduction, the report presents the Department's recommendations for improving correctional services in the State. The report contains organization charts, facility profiles, a budget, description of cost savings, outline of the correctional work force, legislative update, agency strategic plan, and review of offender programs and drug treatment programs. The report also covers awards, support services, release programs, admission and release services, and escapes. Statistics for the 1993-1994 reporting period are presented as they pertain to inmates and community supervision.
