This report presents statistical data regarding inmate populations in California correctional facilities between April 1994 and March 1995, as well as for each quarter during this period.
Abstract
The State institutions had an average daily population of 125,489 during the time period, including 117,358 men and 8,131 women. This total included 98,244 in institutions, 17,494 in reception centers, 3,943 in camps, 5,393 in community-based facilities, and 416 in hospitals. Data are also provided for each facility and for each region of the State. Tables
