This report describes United Nations activities involving cooperation with other intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations in the field of criminal justice, as well as the United Nations International Drug Control Program, from November 1993 to March 1995.
Abstract
During this period the provision of practical technical assistance and cooperation with other agencies received increased emphasis. Two conferences focused on international drug control; one discussed money laundering and the other examined organized transnational crime. Other workshops and seminars focused on international drug law enforcement, drug laws, and other aspects of drug control. Cooperative efforts also dealt with juvenile detention, the United Nations Development Program, the International Law Commission, and joint projects with intergovernmental and nongovernmental organizations.
