Abstract
The cases involve two general topics: investigation and prosecution. Cases related to investigation focus on arrest procedures; stop and frisk; search; informers, eavesdropping and wiretapping; examination and identification; and questioning. The cases related to prosecution focus on the preliminary examination, bail, the decision to prosecute, indictment, pleas and plea bargaining, proceedings before trial, new trials, sentences and judgments, appeals, double jeopardy, and collateral attacks.
