Each video portrays two stories, each with a theme that pertains to behaviors that can help prevent drug abuse. One video shows how self-respect and a sense of responsibility help a girl make healthy choices when she is faced with negative peer pressure, along with a story that shows the value of role-playing in learning how to refuse enticements to use drugs. Another video portrays a story about how one girl created a fun and healthy life for herself even through she was in a difficult situation, as well as what to do when a friend is in trouble because of alcohol or other drugs. A third video shows how a girl adjusts to stressful situations such as loneliness and disappointment and also tells a story about two boys who are at risk for alcoholism because of personal problems and family histories of alcohol use. A video explores how the media influences behavior, often in negative ways, as well as how a boy under stress makes some unhealthy choices and has to deal with their consequences. The fifth video shows how children learn about healthy choices from role models such as parents, as well as the value of a positive self-concept in resisting drugs. A sixth video for leaders explains how to start the program. The guidebook introduces the program to leaders, describes "warm-ups" for the group, outlines discussion issues from the videos, suggests creative activities, and provides facts and resources.
