Abstract
Witnesses represented the U.S. Department of Justice, Organized Crime and Racketeering Section; the Drug Enforcement Administration; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms; and local police agencies. Witnesses discussed the involvement of organized crime syndicates in drug trafficking and other drug- related offenses, in murder contracts, in explosions and bombings, and in other types of violent crime.
