Laws pertinent to the use of tobacco products by youths under the age of 18 prohibit the use of such products on school grounds and make unlawful the supplying of tobacco products to any persons under the age of 18. The advertising of tobacco products is prohibited within a two-block radius of any premises or facilities whose primary purpose is directed toward persons under the age of 18 years old. Laws pertinent to alcohol use focus on its sale and purchase; possession; driving under the influence of alcohol; alcohol, minors, and limousines; liability; false identification; and minors on premises. Laws that mandate alcohol and drug education for offenders are also included. Laws related to marijuana address its possession, transportation, the hiring of minors, and peyote. Laws pertinent to inhalants focus on their sale, inhaling, and nitrous oxide; and laws that address narcotics and dangerous drugs target possession, the providing of drugs, minors, and driving under the influence of narcotics and dangerous drugs.
