The first article examines dating violence at a large urban university, using a sample of over 2,300 to determine the nature and extent of dating violence. In the second study, the authors report on an examination of the effectiveness of two rape prevention programs on rape-supported beliefs among college students, followed by an article that describes the procedure for conducting and implementing a security survey on campus. Another article reports on a study of victim and perpetrator labeling of forced sexual intercourse as rape. An article reports on a large university study that focused on reported and unreported crimes on campus, including rape, other sexual offenses, stalking, and lewd phone calls, along with their impact on the fear of crime. Remaining articles address the fear of victimization and perceived risk of victimization on campus, as well as explanations for campus crime that focus on internal and external factors.
