This statistical report provides detailed information on Washington State's adult corrections and work release populations and on prison admissions and releases as of December 1995.
Abstract
Data on inmate populations in adult correctional institutions and on work release include average daily population and rated capacity by month, female inmates, inmate race and age offense distribution, violent crime convictions, and sentencing. Data on prison admissions and releases are tabulated by month and type, type and county of conviction, and offense type and by inmate age, race, and sex. Overall statistics indicate the average daily population in adult correctional institutions and on work release totaled 11,783 as of December 1995; the rated capacity of institutions, however, was 8,301.
