Twenty-four listings of prevention materials provide a summary of the contents of each listing, along with the responsible organization, year published, format of the materials, length, target audience, inventory number, and information on where it can be obtained. A listing of 43 studies, articles, and reports contains an abstract on each listing; the listings are categorized under the following topics: marijuana and other drug use, prevalence of use, effects of use, abuse and addictive potential, international/cross-cultural perspectives, and prevention. Names, addresses, and phone numbers are provided for 12 groups, organizations, and programs that can provide information on marijuana, its use, and the prevention of its abuse. Under Internet access sites, 10 Federal resource websites are listed, along with 12 other resource websites.
