The Federal budget for fiscal year 2000 included an appropriation of $10 million for the Grants to Combat Violent Crimes Against Women on Campuses Program, and the application kit and program guidelines are provided.
Abstract
The scope of the program to prevent violence against women on campuses is described, purposes for which grant funds may be used are identified, and special interest categories of priority interest to the Office of Justice Programs are noted. The application package contains several a quick-start guide to using the Office of Justice Programs Online Grants Management System, SF-424 instructions, a budget detail worksheet, assurances and certifications regarding lobbying, certification of compliance with grant eligibility requirements, and a non-binding letter of intent. Applications had to be received online no later than May 26, 2000.
