Abstract
The document is divided into four sections. Essentials of Weed and Seed contains three articles: (1) Creative Problem Solving in Lowell, MA; (2) Indianapolis Weed and Seed Sponsors Second Annual Bike Safety Rodeo; and (3) Coordinating Special Events in Your Weed and Seed Community (Augusta, GA, Tallahassee, FL, and Selma, CA). Primary Intervention contains four articles: (4) The Small Site Experience: Weed and Seed in Rural Communities; (5) Pittsburgh Weed and Seed Sites Partner With University of Pittsburgh To Create Healthier Communities; (6) The Way It's "Supposed" To Be: Residents Drive the Weed and Seed Strategy (Aurora, CO); and (7) Focus on Health Care (Topeka, KS, and Aldine, TX). Early Intervention contains six chapters: (8) High on Space; (9) Police Officer Trading Cards a Big Hit With Fresno Youth; (10) North Charleston's Police Department Impressing Area Youth; (11) Full Speed Ahead for DEFY 2000: Thanks to Kmart Kids Race Against Drugs; (12) Not Just "Babysitting With Crayons"; and (13) Together Everyone Accomplishes More. Treatment and Reentry contains one chapter: (14) Las Vegas Weed and Seed Provides Support for Ex-Offenders.
