Prison admissions data contain inmate demographic data, prison admission data, incarceration data, and offense data. Prison release and parole release data address additional sentence for offense committed since admission; prior felony incarceration; escape or absent-without-leave status; number of days on community release; month, day, and year of prison release; first agency that assumed custody for the person, as well as second and third agencies assuming custody; and type of release. Data for parole release only covers the month, day, and year of parole release; type of release from parole; and supervision status just prior to release.
