Abstract
An outgrowth of the continued work of the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA), the Law Enforcement Intelligence Unit (LEIU), and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) and the growing interest in intelligence supported by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), this turn-key CD-ROM is designed to provide police executives with documents they can use to develop or upgrade their intelligence function. The CD-ROM contains the IACP’s Criminal Intelligence Sharing Plan, steps to starting an intelligence unit model, a revisiting of intelligence basics, intelligence guidelines, model intelligence policies and procedures, tactical and strategic intelligence product samples, intelligence software systems, recruitment and job descriptions for intelligence analysts, intelligence led policing, intelligence glossary, and comprehensive resources.
