Abstract
The seven steps to finding a job fast include: (1) create a positive image and environment; (2) identify one's skills; (3) identify job targets; (4) get one's documents in order; (5) use the most effective job search methods; (6) improve one's interviewing skills; and (7) follow up on all job leads. This book emphasizes the most effective job search approaches, providing an ex-offender with what they need to know to overcome barriers and cut job search time in half. Clear examples are provided, as well as helpful worksheets, time-saving tips, and practical advice. Those ex-offenders who quickly find steady employment are the ones most likely to stay out of prison and make a new life for themselves. The guide is designed to help ex-offenders make that transition successfully by getting a job fast. Appendix A and B
