National Library Week

Started in 1958, National Library Week is a nationwide observance celebrated by all types of libraries - including the NCJRS Virtual Library. NCJRS invites you to explore the breadth and scope of the NCJRS Virtual Library collection and services. With more than 220,000 collection documents and 60,000 online resources, including all known Office of Justice Programs works, it is one of the world’s largest criminal justice special collections.

  Annotation: The purpose of this DVD is to educate drug court teams, researchers, and others about important program assessment issues and resources.
Abstract: The National Institute of Justice (NIJ), in collaboration with the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), National Drug Court Institute (NDCI), and the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), developed this DVD to educate drug court teams, researchers, and others about important program assessment issues and resources. The DVD presents information on performance measurement, process evaluation, outcome evaluation, impact evaluation, and cost efficiency in separate modules. These files may also be downloaded from NIJ’s website on Drug Court Performance Measures and Program Evaluation at Publications corresponding to this DVD include: NDCI’s Local Drug Court Research: Navigating Performance Measures and Process Evaluations ( and NCSC’s Performance Measurement of Drug Courts: the State of the Art ( BJA’s Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program website provides information on funding, training, and technical assistance at NIJ invites you to review the modules, along with supporting materials, and provide feedback/comments as they pertain to this DVD and future DVD products.
