A SUMMARY OF PROJECT ACTIVITIES AND PROPOSALS OF THE ARIZONA MODEL CRIMINAL CODE AND RULES REVISION PROJECT.
Abstract
THE DRAFTING ACTIVITIES OF THE STAFF, CONSIDERATION OF THE RULES BY THE STATE BAR COMMITTEE AND THE SUPREME COURT, AND THE STAFF'S INVOLVEMENT OF OTHER PERSONS IN THE RULES REVISION EFFORT ARE DISCUSSED. ALSO SUMMARIZES ARE THE STAFF'S ACTIVITIES WITH RESPECT TO CODE REVISION AND ATTEMPTS TO EVALUATE THE STRUCTURE OF THE RULES REVISION EFFORT AND THE USEFULNESS OF THE STAFF IN THAT EFFORT. THE SOURCES OF AND HISTORY OF PROPOSALS FOR MAJOR CHANGES IN THE ARIZONA RULES OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ARE PRESENTED IN AN APPENDIX. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
