THIS TRAINING KEY DISCUSSES WAYS IN WHICH PHOTOGRAPHY IS A NECESSARY TOOL FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT INVESTIGATOR TO EFFECTIVELY RECORD EVIDENCE IN VARIOUS SITUATIONS.
Abstract
CRIME SCENE PHOTOGRAPHY AND LIGHTING TECHNIQUES FOR RECORDING BOTH GENERAL AND SPECIFIC VIEWS OF THE SCENE ARE PRESENTED. THE IMPORTANCE OF MAINTAINING AN ACCURATE PERSPECTIVE OF THE CRIME SCENE IN PHOTOGRAPHS TO BE USED AS EVIDENCE IS STRESSED. THE VALUES OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN SURVEILLANCE OPERATIONS, RECORDING RIOTS AND DEMONSTRATIONS, RECORDING CONFESSIONS, AND PROVIDING EVIDENCE OF INTOXICATION ARE REVIEWED.
