TWO-THIRDS OF SURVEY RESPONDENTS INDICATED THAT THEY FEARED PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION WHILE ONLY 43 PERCENT HAD ACUTALLY EXPERIENCED AN UNPLEASANT INCIDENT.
Abstract
TIMES OF GREATEST FEAR BY BOTH MALE AND FEMALE RIDERS ARE DISCUSSED. DATA WERE OBTAINED FROM SURVEYS TAKEN IN THE CHICAGO AREA.
