THIS REPORT DETAILS THE DEVELOPMENT AND FIELD TESTING OF A METHODOLOGY FOR THE CONDUCT OF A COUNTY WIDE NEEDS AND RESOURCES ASSESSMENT FOR ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.
Abstract
THE METHODOLOGY USED IN CONDUCTING THE RESOURCES AND NEEDS ASSESSMENT WAS SUCCESSFUL IN ACCOMPLISHING ITS STATED PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES: TO IDENTIFY THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF PROTECTIVE SERVICES CLIENTS; AND TO IDENTIFY THE NEEDS FOR WHICH RESOURCES ARE INADEQUATE OR DO NOT EXIST. THE NEEDS AND RESOURCES OF SIX TEXAS COUNTIES WERE ASSESSED. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
