Abstract
POINTS MADE IN THIS SPEECH REVOLVE AROUND A DESIRE FOR REVITALIZATION OF LAW AND PUBLIC FAITH IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM. THE SPEAKER SUGGESTED LIMITING THE ROLE OF THE COURTS AND SEEKING THE AID OF VOLUNTARY, NON-LEGAL AGENCIES TO SOLVE MANY PROBLEMS IN FAMILY RELATIONS, PSYCHIATRY, EDUCATION, AND INDUSTRY. THE BASIC IMPORT OF THE SPEECH CENTERED AROUND THE THEORY THAT MAJOR PUBLIC CONCERN AROSE FROM THE OPERATION OF CRIMINAL LAW IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM.
