Abstract
THE AUTHOR, A FLORIDA CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE WITH 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE, POINTS OUT NUMEROUS PROBLEMS THAT HE BELIEVES MUST BE CORRECTED TO PREVENT A 'MOCKERY' OF THE JUDICIAL PROCESS. SOME OF THE MORE GLARING PROBLEMS INCLUDE HAVING TO WALK THROUGH A POLICE STATION TO GET TO THE COURTROOM, THE ADJACENCY OF A DETENTION CELL TO THE COURTROOM WHICH IS REVEALED WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED, IMMENSE PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC AND NOISE, AND THE PROMINENT PRESENCE OF A CASH REGISTER IN THE COURTROOM WHICH LENDS THE IMPRESSION OF 'CASH REGISTER JUSTICE'....BS
