REPORT EXPLAINS HOW BETTER UTILIZATION OF EXISTING SPACE AND FACILITIES CAN LEAD TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE OPERATION OF THE SAN FRANCISCO DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE.
Abstract
TO HANDLE AN INCREASED NUMBER OF SUPPORT PERSONNEL IN THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, A REORGANIZATION OF THE EXISTING FACILITIES WERE IN ORDER. SPECIAL ATTENTION WAS PAID TO COMPONENTS WITHIN THE OFFICE, AS WELL AS TO DETERMINING A MEANS OF ACCOMMODATING PROPOSED NEW PROGRAMS WITHIN THE EXISTING SPACE. THE REPORT OFFERS RECOMMENDATIONS ON IMMEDIATE REALLOCATION OF SPACE TO ACCOMMODATE NEW STAFF AND EQUIPMENT. IT ALSO MAKES PROPOSALS ON LONG-RANGE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SPACE UTILIZATION PROBLEMS OF THE OFFICE. ANOTHER PART OF THE REPORT CONTAINS GUIDELINES FOR COMPONENTS OF THE PROSECUTORS' OFFICES THAT CAN SERVE AS REFERENCE FOR FUTURE PLANNING EFFORTS....BS
