A RESEARCH REPORT IS CONCERNED WITH AN ATTEMPT TO DISCOVER WHAT INSULATES EARLY ADOLESCENT BOYS IN HIGH DELINQUENCY AREAS AGAINST DELINQUENCY.
Abstract
THE STUDY IS BASED ON AN ASSESSMENT OF 70 BOYS AT 12 YEARS OLD AND AGAIN AT 16 WHO WERE NOMINATED BY THEIR SIXTH GRADE TEACHERS AS HEADED FOR DELINQUENCY. A COMPARISON GROUP OF 103 'GOOD' BOYS WERE ASSESSED UNDER THE SAME CONDITIONS.
