THIS PAPER DISCUSSES THE METHODOLOGICAL, TECHNICAL, AND ORGANIZATIONAL PROBLEMS MET BY AN INTERNATIONAL TEAM OF RESEARCHERS DURING MORE THAN SIX YEARS OF COOPERATION ON A JUVENILE DELINQUENCY PROJECT.
Abstract
THE AIM OF THE PROJECT WAS TO DISCOVER THE EXISTENCE OF A RELATIONSHIP OF DEPENDENCE BETWEEN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND THE DELINQUENCY OF MINORS AND YOUNG ADULTS. THE HISTORY, THE ORGANIZATION, AND THE GENERAL DESIGN OF THE PROJECT ARE INTRODUCED IN THE FIRST TWO SECTIONS. THE PROBLEMS OF THE TWO SUBPROJECTS ARE THEN EXAMINED: THE SOCIOSTATISTICAL PROBLEM (STATISTICAL STUDY) IN THE THIRD SECTION AND THE PSYCHO-SOCIOLOGICAL PROBLEM (CASE STUDY) IN THE FOURTH SECTION.
