A CATALOGUE OF SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS FOR JUVENILES IN NEW HAMPSHIRE IS PRESENTED AS A RESOURCE FOR THE STATE'S DISTRICT AND MUNICIPAL COURTS.
Abstract
THE CATALOGUE CONTAINS PROGRAM INFORMATION CURRENT AS OF SEPTEMBER 1976 AND IS DESIGNED TO BE UPDATED SEMIANNUALLY. PROGRAM INFORMATION IS ORGANIZED BY COUNTY AND BY FUNCTIONAL CATEGORY (DIVERSION PROGRAMS, DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES, RESIDENTIAL ALTERNATIVES, AND NONRESIDENTIAL ALTERNATIVES). THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS ARE FURTHER DIVIDED INTO GROUP HOMES AND INSTITUTIONS. EACH ENTRY INCLUDES THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE ORGANIZATION, A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE OFFERED, INFORMATION ON FEES AND REQUIREMENTS, AND THE NAME AND TELEPHONE NUMBER OF A CONTACT PERSON. THE CATALOGUE ALSO PROVIDES SUMMARY LISTINGS OF PROGRAMS BY FUNCTIONAL CATEGORY AND BY COUNTY, AS WELL AS DESCRIPTIONS OF STATE SERVICES AND A LIST OF NONPUBLIC ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS THAT ACCEPT REFERRALS FROM COURTS. THE METHODS USED TO COMPILE THE CATALOGUE ARE DESCRIBED BRIEFLY.
