Abstract
THE REPORT OPENS WITH STATEWIDE STATISTICS ON THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME COMMISSIONED OFFICERS, PART-TIME OFFICERS, RADIO-EQUIPPED VEHICLES, AND CITIZENS BAND (CB) RADIOS IN ALL OF THE STATE'S CITY POLICE, COUNTY SHERIFF, INDIAN TRIBAL POLICE, UNIVERSITY POLICE, AND STATE POLICE DEPARTMENTS. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS THEN PRESENTED FOR EACH CITY POLICE AND TOWN MARSHAL DEPARTMENT, SHERIFF'S OFFICE, TRIBAL POLICE AGENCY, AND CAMPUS POLICE AGENCY: NAME OF AGENCY; NUMBER AND CLASSIFICATION OF FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME OFFICERS; NUMBER OF RADIO-EQUIPPED VEHICLES; NUMBER OF CB RADIOS IN VEHICLES; TYPE OF COMMUNICATION AVAILABLE (LOCALLY OWNED, SHARED BASE, ETC.); TYPE OF RECORD SYSTEM USED; OTHER FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO ASSIST IN LAW ENFORCEMENT; AND LOCAL AGENCIES THAT PROVIDE SIGNIFICANT ASSISTANCE TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. NARRATIVE INTERPRETATIONS AND INFORMATION ON SURVEY METHODS ARE NOT INCLUDED.
