A COMPUTER PROGRAM THAT CALCULATES SELECTED PERFORMANCE MEASURES OF EMERGENCY SERVICE SYSTEMS (POLICE, FIRE, AND MEDICAL) IS DESCRIBED.
Abstract
THE HYPERCUBE QUEUING MODEL, WHICH IS PARTICULARLY USEFUL IN DESIGNING RESPONSE DISTRICTS FOR MOBILE UNITS, CONSISTS OF TWO VERSIONS -- AN EXACT MODEL AND AN APPROXIMATE MODEL. BOTH VERSIONS ARE INCORPORATED IN A SINGLE COMPUTER PROGRAM. THE REPORT PRESENTS A LISTING OF THE COMPUTER PROGRAM, WHICH MAY BE OF USE TO DATA-PROCESSING PERSONNEL IN MODIFYING OR KEYPUNCHING THE PROGRAM.
