Abstract
THE BRIEFS FROM THREE INDIVIDUALS ARE PRESENTED, AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS FROM THE FOLLOWING LOCALES AND PROVINCES PROVIDED BRIEFS: BRITISH COLUMBIA, ALBERTA, SASKATCHEWAN, MANITOBA, ONTARIO, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND, NOVA SCOTIA, AND NEWFOUNDLAND. FOUR NATIONAL PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS INVOLVED IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE WORK HAVE BRIEFS INCLUDED. GENERALLY, EACH ORGANIZATION DESCRIBES ITS WORK AND OFFERS RECOMMENDATIONS AS TO HOW GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS CAN BETTER WORK TOGETHER TO ACCOMPLISH COMPATIBLE GOALS.
