THIS PUBLICATION CONTAINS APPENDIXES TO THE FINAL REPORT OF THE LEAA-FUNDED CORRECTIONAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAM, DEVELOPED TO HELP 10 STATES IMPROVE THEIR INSTITUTIONAL HEALTH CARE DELIVERY.
Abstract
THE CORRECTIONAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAM WAS A PROJECT OF THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS. THE PROGRAM OFFERED CORRECTIONAL ADMINISTRATORS AND HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN DESIGNING, IMPLEMENTING, ADMINISTERING AND EVALUATING HEALTH SERVICES PROVISIONS. CRITICAL NEED AREAS OF THE PARTICIPATING STATES ARE IDENTIFIED AND ASSISTANCE GIVEN BY PROJECT MEMBERS.
